Are the candles handmade?
Yes, all our candles are handmade in Poland.
How do you make candles?
Our candles are produced using the traditional craft method, during which all stages of production are done by hand. Cleaning the glass, attaching the wick, mixing the wax with the fragrance, pouring the candle in the glass, re-cleaning the glass, labeling and packing the candles into boxes.
What wax do you use to make candles?
We use natural rapeseed wax. It is biodegradable, GMO-free and not tested on animals. More information can be found on the RAW MATERIALS page.
Do you use safe fragrances?
Yes, our fragrances are safe for human health and the environment. They are IFRA certified and REACH compliant. They are not tested on animals. More information can be found on the RAW MATERIALS page.
Does a large candle smell stronger than a small one?
Yes, a large candle is more intense than a small candle. This is due to the greater surface area of the melted wax. Remember that when choosing candles, match its size to the size of the room.

How to make the candle burn evenly?
The first lighting of the scented candle is the most important. Be sure to burn as long as the surface of all the wax is parted (about 3 hours). Thanks to this, you will avoid the tunneling effect of the candle. Wax has the ability to “remember” the first burn, and if you put out the candle before the wax is completely melted, during the next burn, candle will melt till the same place.
Why doesn’t a candle burn out on one side?
Probably because the wick was too long and bent to one side. Before lighting the candle again, trim the wick to about 0.5 cm. If the wick in your candle is not clearly in the middle, move it. After the candle is extinguished, when the pool of wax is about 1 cm deep, try to center the wick using, for example, a toothpick. This will ensure that the heat from the flame will melt the wax in the candle evenly during the next burn.
Why can’t I burn a candle for more than 4 hours?
If you burn the candle for more than 4 hours, a “mushroom” will form on the wick, i.e. accumulated carbon. The flame may be too high and the wick too long, causing the candle to smoke.
Why is there discoloration on my candle?
Because it is made of natural wax, which, unlike paraffin or stearin, absorbs fragrance compositions differently. They can affect the appearance of discoloration, which, apart from visual effects, have no effect on the quality of the candle.
Why does the candle smoke?
The main cause of candle smoke is too long wick. As the candle burns, the wax in its vicinity melts, liquid wax is drawn into the wick to power it. If the wick is too long, the balance of heat and fuel will be disturbed. Then a chemical reaction occurs that can cause soot and smoke. In this situation, extinguish the candle and make sure that the wick is trimmed to about 0.5 cm.
Why does the flame in the candle flicker?
Probably because the wick in the candle is too long. Extinguish the candle and make sure the wick is trimmed to about 0.5 cm. Another reason may be exposure to a moving air source such as wind or draft. Under no circumstances should you burn a candle in such a place.

When will my order be shipped?
It takes 1-3 business days to complete an order.
What do order statuses mean?
Pending payment – means that we are waiting for your payment to be credited to your account. The status will appear only with the payment method by traditional bank transfer.
In progress – status means that your order is in the process of being completed.
Completed – your order is ready for shipment and waiting to be picked up by the courier.
Where can I track my order status?
We will inform you about the current status of your order by email. If you don’t see messages in your inbox, check your SPAM folder.
Is it possible to cancel an order?
You can cancel your order until the status changes to completed.
PAYMENTS
We have two types of payment for your order: payment on delivery and payment in advance (BIK, GooglePay, quick transfer, traditional transfer, card payment). For more information, please visit the PAYMENT METHODS page.
When the payment is charged?
By choosing fast online payments, the money is taken from your account automatically.
How can I get a VAT invoice?
When placing your order, provide your invoice details in the order notes.
Are my bank card details safe?
Yes, all the data you provide when placing an order is secure. Information is sent in encrypted form, which ensures full protection of confidential data. A guarantee of security is the site’s SSL certificate (click on the padlock next to the site address to see the certificate).
Where to get bank transfer details?

RETURN AND COMPLAINT
Immediately contact us by email kontakt@leisure-candle.com, attach photos of the damaged product to the message.
What is the return procedure?
Inform us by email, attach the completed RETURN FORM to the return shipment. Remember that you have 14 days from the date of delivery to return the product. Returned products must not be damaged, after positive verification of the products we will refund your account.
Do I have to pay for the return?
Yes, the return payment is payable by the customer.
